Reviewers Guidelines

THE PARADIGM CHRONICLE JOURNAL OF ACADEMIC INQUIRY & CRITICAL THOUGHT follows a rigorous peer-review process to maintain academic quality, originality, and ethical publication standards. Reviewers play a significant role in ensuring the credibility, relevance, and scholarly value of the manuscripts submitted to the journal.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Reviewers should evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and professionally without any personal bias.
  • Manuscripts must be reviewed on the basis of originality, relevance, research methodology, clarity, quality of analysis, and contribution to the respective field of study.
  • Reviewers should maintain strict confidentiality regarding the submitted manuscripts and must not share, discuss, or use unpublished content for personal or professional benefit.
  • Constructive, clear, and detailed feedback should be provided to help authors improve the quality and academic value of their research work.
  • Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors wherever necessary.
  • Any suspected case of plagiarism, unethical research practice, data fabrication, falsification, or copyright violation should immediately be reported to the editorial board.
  • Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest related to the manuscript, authors, institutions, or funding agencies.
  • Reviewers are expected to complete the review process within the stipulated time assigned by the editorial team.

Review Process

The journal follows a double-blind peer-review process in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential. Each manuscript is reviewed by subject experts to ensure originality, academic integrity, quality research standards, and suitability for publication.

Ethical Standards

The reviewers are expected to follow the ethical principles and guidelines recommended by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Reviewers should ensure honesty, transparency, objectivity, and professionalism throughout the review process.

Final Recommendation

Based on the evaluation and review report, reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:

  • Accept Manuscript
  • Accept with Minor Revisions
  • Resubmit after Major Revisions
  • Reject Manuscript

The final decision regarding publication of the manuscript rests with the Editorial Board of the journal.
