Abstract

This study examines the relationship between social inclusion, equality and human development in India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat @2047. Using a qualitative, descriptive and analytical approach based on secondary data from government reports, policy documents and international publications, it assesses poverty reduction, employment, gender equality, education, healthcare, digital inclusion and environmental sustainability. India has demonstrated progress in human development, poverty alleviation and sustainable development. However, social inequalities, gender disparities, regional differences and unequal access to essential services remain significant challenges. The study emphasizes inclusive policies, equitable opportunities and sustainable growth for achieving comprehensive national development by 2047.
